THE PRINCE OF GOLDSMITHS

SHANGHAI 2025

In the city's luxury district, the Shanghai Exhibition Center will host the exhibition "The Prince of Goldsmiths: Buccellati Rediscovering the Classics". From December 7th 2025, to January 5th 2026, this show will explore the Maison's artistic and craft heritage. The exhibition's title honors Gabriele D'Annunzio's 1936 description of Mario Buccellati: "The Prince of Goldsmiths", acknowledging his unique skill in transforming precious metals into timeless works of art.

After its success in Venice in 2024, the exhibition now moves to Shanghai, keeping its original vision and concept. This new version greatly adds to the story of the Buccellati Family and the Maison's artistic and historical heritage, especially by expanding the parts about Buccellati's famous collections and iconic pieces. Both the Venice and Shanghai exhibitions were created by Balich Wonder Studio, who handled the creative concept and production, and were carefully curated by Alba Cappellieri, who chose all the jewelry and silverware on show.

This second edition offers new insights, exploring the Maison's heritage deeply by letting visitors experience Buccellati's core values through new interactive rooms. Besides displaying handcrafted jewelry, accessories, and silver objects, it also creates an intimate connection to the family's legacy, its craftsmanship, and how it blends historical inspiration with future innovation.
