"SHARE YOUR MEMORIES" WITH GUIDO TARONI
CERNOBBIO 2025

From the 1920s to the 1940s, the Visconti family acquired numerous masterpieces crafted by Mario Buccellati. Today, some of these precious creations reside in the private collection of photographer Guido Taroni, heir to Countess Carla Erba Visconti. These jewels, alongside materials from our Maison's historical archive, intricately weave a narrative of a shared past stirring long-held memories for both families. This compelling story unfolds in two acts: a photographic journey captured by Guido Taroni, and a conversation between him and Maria Cristina Buccellati.
Acquired by Carla Erba Visconti and carefully preserved, the exquisite Mario Buccellati jewels bear silent witness to an intertwined heritage. Their stories unfold through six evocative photographs by Guido Taroni, taken within the elegant Villa Erba Antica. Taroni artfully positions the jewels within the villa's lived-in spaces, amidst period furnishings that echo their original owners' spirit, or alongside historical images of Carla Erba Visconti. Within the serene Villa Erba Antica in Cernobbio, Guido Taroni and Mariacristina Buccellati engage in a profound dialogue. Surrounded by these timeless objects, their reminiscences and tales intertwine, crafting an intimate narrative that unites the Visconti and Buccellati families in a dance of remembrance and connection.
