Rosso Maraviglia
Milan 2023
There are no words to explain the work in a furnace, where experience becomes the only possible teaching, where decision and quick gestures merge with creativity, and where the master glassmaker makes his craftsmanship available for the creation of contemporary designs, forming a timeline that leads from the past toward present stimuli and inspirations for future forms. The observer's amazement is continuous.
Every master glassmaker is an artist; his dedication to his work is a gift. Waking up at dawn and reaching the furnace indicates that the master, even for that day, will challenge the fragility of the glass and forge it with the motions that are natural to him. Making by hand ennobles the master and the object, creates artistic value and wonder.
Rosso Maraviglia
When silver and glass meet

Rosso Maraviglia
When silver and glass meet
Buccellati likes to combine silver with a variety of materials, Murano glass being among them. As early as the 1970s, jam jars became glass flowers and vegetables, with silver lids reproducing leaves and petioles. In 2016, the first collaboration with Venini kicked off to expand and embellish the already well-known Caviar line.
With the "Rosso Maraviglia" collection, the fruitful collaboration between Buccellati and Venini is reiterated: two Italian excellences passionate about craftsmanship and tradition, which are worldwide symbols of high quality and prestigious workmanship, uniqueness and timeless elegance.
THE PANTHEON
A pioneering viewpoint to bring matter and abstraction closer together

THE PANTHEON
A pioneering viewpoint to bring matter and abstraction closer together
AMDL Circle and architect, thinker and master Michele De Lucchi are the protagonists of the installation designed for Salone del Mobile 2023: a modern Pantheon, a work that serves as a red and majestic hat for the Portaluppi terrace. With its faceted and perforated structure, in fact, the entirely pergola-like surface recalls the shape of a diamond and the cuts of stones.
The square our HQs overlook is totally white, which gave Michele De Lucchi the opportunity to have fun with red, an unusual and seldomly used color in architecture, chosen by Buccellati and Venini for their collaboration.
THE GARDEN OF WONDERS
A fantastic path punctuated by plays of light

THE GARDEN OF WONDERS
A fantastic path punctuated by plays of light
International landscape designer and urban edenist Lily Kwong has created a botanical environment within the Pantheon that draws an enveloping path, squeezed between the red of the structure and the green of the plants. Walking along the edges of the garden, silver art de la table collections, unique interpretations of iconic objects, such as the new creations designed in collaboration with Venini, are gradually revealed-just like flowers.
Lily Kwong's creative flair takes us to a space that is partly a secret garden and partly a garden of wonders, an enclosure that transports us to another geographical dimension. As we approach the edge of the terrace, a few openings in the pergola structure give us glimpses of all of Milan and the mountains that surround it.
VENICE, INSPIRING MUSE

VENICE, INSPIRING MUSE
It is a deep bond that binds Buccellati to Venice, in large part because of the goldsmithing techniques that have deep roots here and from which Buccellati has always drawn inspiration throughout its ultra-centennial history. This bond has been strengthened over time also because of the various collaborations that the Maison has made with the master glassmakers of Murano, beginning with the fruits and vegetables of the jam jars that sprung from Gianmaria's creativity, moving on to the first collaboration with Venini, in 2016, for an unusual interpretation of the Caviar line, and arriving at the creation of the recent "Rosso Maraviglia" collection, which sanctions the perfect union between creative glass and precious hand-chiseled silverware.

In the surreal atmosphere of the modern Rosso Maraviglia pantheon, the gala dinner and cocktail reception were held with great participation and interest of all guests.
The immersive gala dinner event was enlivened by an unexpected play of lights and accompanied by a duo of talented jazz musicians, who graced the evening.
The Rosso Maraviglia cocktail attracted hundreds of participants during the invitation-only evening, and the subsequent open days saw an influx of about 2,000 visitors: a true success!
