Floral brooches, leaves, succulent and exotic plants, and especially bouquets, have always been part of the Maison's creative process since the very beginning. Every family generation of designers has given its very personal touch to Nature, exploring never-before-seen wildlife vegetation that tickles imagination. Gianmaria Buccellati, second generation of the family, was truly keen to investigate the world of Mother Earth, sometimes inventing flower combinations not even existing in real life. Following the path of his father Mario, he used to sketch his creations on a one-to-one scale. However, he introduced for the first time 0.5 millimiters squared papers so to better detailing every aspect of the new jewelry piece that his artisans had to interpret. This brooch depicts a colorful bouquet in which white gold petals are set with 3 faceted emeralds of 2,25 carats at the center and 22 faceted sapphires of 3,70 carats. The leaves are in "modellato" engraved yellow gold encrusted with 136 rose-cut diamonds of 2,93 carats. The stem and the calyx supporting the flowers are both in pink gold.
