The cushion bezel is an iconic feature of Buccellati’s Cocktail rings, where gemstones are the undeniable stars. Usually worn during cocktail receptions for their eye-catching style, they certainly don’t go unnoticed on the wearer’s hand while holding a flûte of champagne.
One example is this splendid “pagoda” ring in yellow and white gold, with “modellato” engraving and an imperial topaz (25 carats). It is Gianmaria Buccellati’s tribute to the Orient and its architecture.
The topaz is housed within a precious lace-worked, yellow gold cage adorned with 84 brilliant-cut diamonds (4.1 carats).
The stem supports the weight of the precious gem like a capital and is characterized by the typical yellow and white gold alternations engraved with small leaf motifs.
