ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Last updated: June 2025
We are committed to providing an accessible online experience for all our users, including those with disabilities, and to conform with established accessibility standards and laws. Additionally, we leverage an industry-leading digital accessibility solution, Level Access, to maintain and improve conformance with accessibility standards.
Scope
This statement has been prepared to inform users about the accessibility of our service, including its alignment with relevant legal and technical standards. This accessibility statement applies to the portions of our website covered by the European Accessibility Act and any national implementation.
Description of the Service and Measures to Support Accessibility
We provide e-commerce services. Our service is accessible across multiple formats, supporting a broad range of user needs. Specifically, we have taken the following measures to ensure the accessibility of the service:
- Text-based descriptions: alternative text and labeling.
- Audio support: Narrated descriptions for users with visual disabilities. The UserWay Widget includes a Screen Reader tool that allows users to navigate through contents or elements and have them read aloud.
- Screen reader compatibility: Fully functional with popular screen readers, enabling users with visual disabilities to navigate and interact with web content effectively.
- High-contrast and zoom functionality: Adjustable contrast and text scaling for users with visual disabilities. The UserWay Widget offers a Contrast Mode that toggles site colors for better visibility, along with Text Enlargement / Bigger Text controls to increase font size.
Our service is delivered through an interface that supports accessibility by:
- Simple navigation: Logical layouts with consistent headings.
- Keyboard accessibility: Functions that can be operated via keyboard.
- Help and support: automated fixes and access to a basic report showing accessibility issues found and addressed on the website. Userway does not provide detailed instructions on how to resolve these issues at the code level.
- Error notifications: help users notice and navigate to error messages through screen reader support, focus indicators, and visual enhancements.
- Customizable settings: Options for users to personalize settings, such as font sizes, themes, and display modes, to meet their needs.
We are continuously striving to improve our accessibility by providing:
- Regular testing: We continually test our services against the latest accessibility guidelines, including WCAG and EN 301 549, and make necessary updates to sustain accessibility
- Feedback mechanisms: We have established channels for users to provide feedback on accessibility issues and aim to address concerns promptly
- Perceivable content: All visual and auditory information is presented in ways that are adaptable to users' needs
- Operable interface: The service is fully navigable by keyboard and works seamlessly with assistive technologies
- Understandable design: Our interface uses clear and simple language, avoids unnecessary complexity
- Robust content: We ensure compatibility with current and future user agents, including assistive technologies
Through our collaboration with Level Access, we have adopted the following practices to enhance every user’s experience:
- Third-party audits and testing: Assessments by external accessibility experts
- Monitoring: Automated conformance scans at regularly scheduled intervals
- Record keeping: Internal reporting on accessibility conformance
