 “IMPERO” NECKLACE

This piece is a perfect interpretative step forward of the laurel crown which Napoleon loved to wear in his portraits, with each laurel leaf representing one of his victories.

Featuring 18, rock crystal lanceolate leaves (167.60 ct.) which alternate with serignato-engraved yellow gold leaves, this necklace is an example of the immense mastery of Buccellati craftspeople. Indeed, their talent in translating the pencil strokes from a design onto precious metal enables artistic flair to blossom unhampered.
The leaves are chained to an engraved white gold branch, and are decorated with 36, 10.48- carat emeralds and 36, 3.90-carat rubies.
Technique and form lean on one another for support: it is a marriage that is unbreakable and an endless, virtuous circle
